Post by TokJanggut »

✅ Best for Pimples at the Same Spot: Moroccan Green Clay
Powerful detoxifier – pulls out deep impurities and toxins from clogged pores.

High absorption – ideal for oily or acne-prone skin.

Anti-inflammatory – calms swollen, painful breakouts.

Effect on recurring pimples: Helps cleanse the root of buildup at that specific spot, minimizing future recurrence.

✅ Recommendation:
Use Moroccan Green Clay 2–3 times a week as a mask directly on the recurring spot. Optionally, you can mix it with rose water or a drop of tea tree oil for extra acne-fighting benefit.

Recommended Time to Use

Post by TokJanggut »

✅ Recommended Time to Use:
🌙 Evening / Night Time (Best Option)
Why: Your skin regenerates overnight. Using the clay at night helps detoxify and calm the skin before repair starts.

Also: Avoids sun exposure after masking, which can cause sensitivity.

⏰ Suggested time: After cleansing, around 8:00–9:00 PM, before your serum or moisturizer.

🕙 Morning (Only if Not Going Out)
If your morning is calm (no sun or sweat exposure), you can use it early:

Why: Helps reduce morning oil and shrinks inflamed pimples before the day.

Caution: Always apply sunscreen afterward if you plan to go outside.

🗓️ Frequency:
2–3 times a week maximum.

For repeating pimples, you can do spot masking more frequently (every other night) just on that area—not full face.

How to wash?

🟢 Should You Let the Clay Fully Dry?
❌ No — do not let it dry completely.
Letting the clay get bone dry and start cracking can:

Over-dry the skin

Cause irritation or micro-tears (especially on inflamed pimples)

Pull too much natural moisture

✅ What You Should Do Instead:
🔸 Let it dry “semi-dry” — wait until:

It starts to lighten in color (drying on the surface),

But still feels slightly cool or damp underneath.

⏱ For spot treatment: usually 10–15 minutes
⏱ For full-face mask: 7–10 minutes

💧 How to Wash It Off Properly:
Soften first:
Wet a soft face towel or use damp fingers to gently rehydrate the clay before scrubbing. This prevents pulling the skin.

Gently massage:
Rinse with lukewarm water in soft circular motions. Avoid harsh rubbing.

Final rinse:
Use cool water to close pores.

Pat dry:
Always pat (don’t rub) the skin with a clean towel.

Follow with moisturizer:
Green clay is very absorbent—it’s important to apply a hydrating toner or lightweight moisturizer afterward to keep your skin balanced.
